2024 Vestrum Women’s Fun Run & Walk

‍The Event: This is the 18^th running of the Women’s Fun Run & Walk conducted by the Bunbury Runners Club Inc. & proudly sponsored by Major Sponsor: Vestrum Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

The course is around the scenic Leschenault Inlet & Queens Gardens

We aim to donate as much of our proceeds as possible to our local beneficiaries – therefore we DO NOT offer REFUNDS for this Fun Run event.

The Women’s Fun Run and Walk is a non competitive event aimed solely at encouraging women and young girls to lead a healthier, more active lifestyle. Female participants are encouraged to enjoy the event as a social experience meeting other women from the community. It is a way women can exercise in a supportive group and be motivated to achieve their goals.

The Women’s Fun Run and Walk is a key event in the Bunbury Runners Club calendar, it is organised on an annual basis by the female members of the club for the women of the community. This event has been very successful since its inception in 2006 in that it has attracted a significant number of women who may not ordinarily have had the confidence to commence a simple and effective fitness program.

Tuesday 5:15pm at the Recreation Ground (Bunbury Runners Club) 1 Ocean Drive, Bunbury.

All welcome to attend the BRC run on Thursday arrive by 5:45pm for 6pm start (Bunbury Runners Club) 1 Ocean Drive.

This year's event has a new beneficiary, Nixi Young Families.

The Nixi Young families program is a subsidiary of Milligan and provide assistance and advocacy to young families in the South West, including supporting young parents in obtaining drivers licence's.

Milligan have partnered with Koombana Driving School and the RYDE (Regional Youth Drivers Education) to provide free lessons and free access to volunteer drivers to complete their hours.

Part proceeds from the 2024 Vestrum Women's Fun Run & Walk are donated to this program to support the Nixi Young Families allowing teens to achieve their independence and improve community access.
